The under wing is composed of a bundle of tippet fibres and golden pheasant. And over it, tied the main wing made of married four sets of married fibers of turkey, amherst pheasant, red macaw. Tie the skin composed of three sets of married fibres of pintail, summer duck, parrot, powdered blue macaw and gallena. Mallard is used for the roof. This is Kelson style mixed wing. Francis and Tannatt showed another methods for dressing this pattern.

These are all wound the reverse way an equal distance apart, but the sewing thread is left until the hackle is put on. The two metal ribs run under the hackle, the sewing thread is put over it, between the fibres.
HACKLE -- From end of body, a red spey-cock hackle, but wound from the root instead of from the point, in the usual direction, thus crossing over the metal ribs.
THROAT -- Teal, two turns only.
