リブ用のシルバー・スレッドはハックルの後から巻かれる。ウイングを短かめに、ホリゾンタル・スタイルで結ぶ。ケルソンのスペイ・フライの場合は2枚のマラードを重ねて結ぶが、タナットの場合は左右1枚ずつ結ぶ。
Wind the silver threads for making rib after winding hackle. Tie the wings horizontally. Tannatt tied the left and right mallard feathers each, but Kelson did bby f fouling up two feathers.
