I finally got a "trophy" for you. It was not a Steelhead as the ones I caught were between 3 and 5 pounds. I did have a big one go across and down the big river taking out the line and almost all of the 150 yards of backing without stopping, I had to put the "brakes" to him then and the 0X tippet snapped!

This fish in the picture was fresh to the stream as she was not in the day before. She was starting to dig a bed and I thought there might be a Steelhead below her waiting for loose eggs. As I drifted the fly by her she distinctly swung at the fly, I drifted it again a little closer and she attacked it!
