水位は80cmを境に若干の上下を繰り返している。水温は６度から８度を行ったり来たり。この水温だとサーモンの活性はすこぶる悪い。

低温で安定していればまだいいが、低温の範囲で水温が上下すると多分、サーモンも冷血動物ゆえ、体調を崩して食い気を失うのだろうと、沢田賢一郎は推測する。依然として、サーモンは頑固に口を使おうとはしない。

Ken was fishing in Gaul Foss, Stadion, and Bridge Pool in this afternoon, but completely nothing. The air and water are still too cold. Jonas said that it is normal in June in the river Gaula. We think so!!
